Voice from the Earth is the third piece in the Full Bloom series. In it there is a sense of being part of something much larger than myself.
If you look closely you can see a figure perched on top of a rock with a giant golden serpent approaching. This piece is inspired by memories of laying on rocks in the Appalachian mountains, looking out at the vast, open scenery. Moments of magic and feelings of connection to the earth flowed through. I sang and it felt as though my voice was the earth. I was merely an instrument and yet, I felt more whole and in sync than ever. The symbolism in the piece speaks to the greater synchronicities that take place when we get in touch with the here and now.
